According to the 2025 Labour Day Holiday arrangement of Beijing Polytechnic University, we have released the relevant requirements and kind reminders for the international students. To guarantee your personal security and property safety and guarantee you a safe, enjoyable and meaningful vacation, please read this notice carefully.
Notice of Labour Day Vacation
The arrangement for the 2025 Labour Day Holiday is as follows: There will be a five-day holidays from Thursday to Monday, May 1st to 5th, and a make-up workday will be arranged on Saturday, May 11th, according to Wednesday course arrangement.
Warm Reminder
1. During the holiday, you should consciously abide by Chinese law, school rules and regulations, and shall not participate in any activities that endanger the stability of society and school, and shall not harm the interests of others.
2. International students are not allowed to engage in any employment, business, or other business activities while holding a student visa in China.
3. International students should consciously learn various knowledge and skills related to safety precautions, enhance our self-protection awareness of personal and property safety, and avoid trusting others to prevent deception.
4. If you leave school during the holidays, you need to apply for leave with your counselor and headteacher in advance and inform them your destination during holiday, and you can only leave the school after obtaining approval.
5. International students should comply with traffic regulations, choose safe transportation, buy tickets through official channels, and do not take illegally operated, incomplete procedures, or overloaded vehicles or vessels.
6. Pay attention to personal dietary hygiene and be cautious of food poisoning.
7. It is strictly forbidden to allow non-GUEST international students to live in the dormitory, violators will be dealt with seriously in accordance with school management regulations.
8. Do not use the heat faster, electric stove, electric wok, electric teapot, or other high-power dangerous electrical appliances.
9. Ensure smooth communication and proactively maintain regular contact with counselor and headteacher.
10. If there is something urgent, please kindly contact your counselor and headteacher.
